Tom Keats, from Gleeson Station near Mt Isa, built his Hornet STOL under the builder-assist program and completed its flight testing at Taree. The aircraft now lives at Mt Isa.
This aircraft has flown 600 hours in the 24 months to December 2009. It has multiple uses on the property.
A new improved undercarriage (as shown) was installed in October 2009.

This kit was shipped to our agent in Western Australia, Alan Sattler in 2006. He built the Hornet STOL as a demonstrator aircraft for
WA. It was completed in November 2006.
This year Alan repainted his Hornet.

Hornet AG/Utility aircraft, is based
in the Barrington Tops west of Gloucester in New South Wales.
In the second half of 2008 it was given a new paint job and a new reinforced undercarriage.

Ole Hartmann and Gill ferried Hornet STOL 19-4251 to Ceduna where they were met by Rod Higgins and Allan Sadler who received the aircraft and flew it home to Coolgardie. The trip them across the Nullarbor Plain and the Great Australian Bight.

Hornet STOL #3 (19 4251) has
been re-fitted with a Rotax 912S engine. This Australian-made
aircraft has been designed to the latest MK1 Hornet STOL
configuration with several improvements for flight crew
comfort. It was given a new colour scheme in November 2006
and is owned by Rod Higgins, Kalgooorlie Western Australia.
